Canned Candies The nudes of Jean Clemmer
A taste of the vintage photos that will be on show from 26th November in a pop up exhibition by Flash Projects, just off Carnaby Street in London. The exhibition titled ‘Canned Candies,’ features iconic and original photographs by artist, musician and photographer Jean Clemmer, which explore fantasy, sensuality and haute couture in 1960s Paris.
This one is definitely worth going to see.

Another successful collection by Dominique jones for SS11 and beautifully modeled by his friend and business partner model Alice Dellal. These pieces were inspired by sculptures of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Nice!

I am loving these massive agate rings and necklaces, also the beautifully vivid colours and tactile textures and of course the layers of tribal rings…in fact im obsessed. What I want to know is where I can get them from. Would definitely don those rings.

I have just been flicking through all the weekend papers and stumbled upon O: (the Observer’s quarterly fashion supplement by Tank.) It’s aim is to ‘inspire’ and its front cover and photo shoot featuring fashion’s new muse: Elisa Sedaoui, does just that. In her interview with Anna Laub Elisa says “I like strong pieces and very defined shapes.” The combination of one of fashion’s most striking and sophisticated models walking the streets of New York, wearing bold statement jewellery, shows that “strong” and “defined” has very much been taken into consideration by stylist Patti Wilson.
Fever Ray
This post is for Laura LB who introduced me to Fever Ray for the costumes when she first saw my blog a few months ago. I’ve been meaning to post her ever since and as we were lucky enough to see her at Bestival two weeks ago (which blew me away) I thought it was a pretty apt time to do so. I love these images which I just found on 5 inch and up, they are as beautiful, haunting and captivating as the music.
